Tuesday, April 30, 2019 - Big, typical Washington cabernet that's a bit closed right now. The grape is evident but it lacks delineation and excitement beyond that. Needs more rest.

    2/25/2020 4:57:00 PM - Pretty unusual. L'Ecole's wines rarely fire up my imagination, but they're solid and consistent. Wonder if your bottle wasn't one of those weird flawed bottles with no obvious flaw like TCA but just an absence of everything that should be there. Happens from time to time. Or maybe something got in it on the bottling line and set off some seconary fermentation and mercaptan development. That can be pretty nasty.
