Tuesday, July 4, 2017 - from online notes, 79% North Coast fruit. Merlot 64%, Petite Sirah 20%, Zinfandel 13%, "Other" 3%. aged 16 months in oak. 13.7% abv.
color dark purple, nose dark cherry and vanilla oak. palate dark fruits, dusky chocolate, good amount of acidity to balance. Surprisingly enjoyable, I admittedly had this with low expectations, but not a lot of complexity. Nonetheless a fun quaffable red. agree with the community average of 88 pts
