Saturday, August 6, 2022 - Dry and savoury, the acidic bite and tannins were still present, but what happened to the fruit, the intensity of flavour the development of richness and texture on the palate, secondary flavours or even a pleasing finish? I’d kept this back having tasted a bottle a good few years ago when I thought it would mature well. Although there were no signs of oxidation it was simply underwhelming and bang average. Mea culpa, I’ve hung onto this for far too long. CHP 80 pts
