Wednesday, December 2, 2020 - this is a solid wine. full bodied, opaque, round, with just the right amount of acidity to balance the fruit and voluptuousness it possesses. the nose is lovely too, with its blueberry jam, chocolate, vanilla and tobacco. drinking well and lots of life left. nothing wrong here. yet, for all that it has going for it, it doesn't knock your socks off, as much as you want it to. (at its price point and where it ranks in the montes lineup), i was hoping for something a little more unique or singular...
