Monday, June 1, 2009 - This last bottle of my 6-pack showed quite well with that wonderful cassis/boysenberry flavor of the vineyard. Quite aged and lacks real complexity but the elegant fruit and finish make it a lovely drink. It has lost the powerful licorice flavor and velvety texture of its youth when I originally thought it was one of the greatest wines I have ever tasted. It has simply not aged like I had hoped.
