Friday, April 12, 2024 - Deep ruby red color. Black raspberries, blackberries, licorice and hints of chocolate and earthiness in the nose. Black currants, blackberries, black cherries, plums, and blueberries in the flavor with a hint of minerality. A complex wine, full bodied, well balanced with nice acidity and a long lingering finish. This was served with the dessert course which worked but this may have scored even higher with the main course. beef or lamb.
