Saturday, November 25, 2017 - Medium dark ruby red. Nose of spiced cherry liquor, backed by sagebrush, trace of plum, very easy oak treatment. Taste is lush, more cherry compote and spice, but with energy and tension. Comes across a bit sweet, fruit over already mild tannins. But noticeably lush above common GSM. High QPR, less savory than past years in a good way.
