Saturday, February 17, 2024 - Just beautiful. Pretty, seductive perfume with red fruit, Rhone-ish aromatics and a touch of mint. Fruit sweet, smooth, powerful, seamless and long on the palate. Super fine tannins on the finish provide a touch of grip. Tastes like no other zinfandel due to the unique field blend. Reminds me of Thackery's Orion, and that's a very good thing. No need to hold off as it's at peak for my palate now. A short decant is all this needs.
