Wednesday, July 19, 2023 - I can’t fairly assess this wine. Upon opening it was huge. Acidic. Tannic. Never fruit forward. Read a note saying this was on its way downhill. I have two more. I’m going to drink another an better assess the wine. It had it with a German Riesling and a vino tondonia Rioja. It definite begged for food. My two friends who I shared the evening with loved the franc Over the Rioja an the Riesling. Franc is my fav varietal yet I felt the Rioja was the best showing of the night. Franc was 2014. Rioja 2011. Riesling 2021. Wait for next note above shortly to give better description.
