Friday, January 1, 2010 - Deep golden color; nose exhibits apricots, acacia honey, orange peel & the wonderful funk of botyrtis. Luscious glycerine sweetness balanced by generous acidity and full bodied bodaciousness. Can't wait to see where it goes and how it pairs with a variety of different foods.
After about the 4th day it became very heady and syrupy. Drank like fortified wine. Found that overall it really didn't pair well with the food I had it with - it demanded all of the attention.
