Friday, June 27, 2014 - HDH auction tasting at Tru; 6/27/2014-6/28/2014 (Chicago, IL): Moderate golden colour. A bit of burnt rubber and sulphur on the nose, but besides that, there is that classic note of marmalade. The palate is where this really shines through, where it feels like you've been smacked with a giant jar of bitter orange marmalade. Only of moderate sweetness, it's the bitterness that keeps this bottle together. Very nice.
