Friday, May 14, 2021 - Online Blind Tasting: Limestone soil - Riesling and Chardonnay: Wine was filled into 0,1l bottle three days before. Tasting note is based on ~ 5cl tasted blind and ~ 5cl the day after.
Glass: Zalto Universal
Clear, medium golden color. Clean, rather muted and closed notes. Some pear, fine oak, delicate sea shells.
Dry, medium+ acidity. 13% abv. Medium body. Dominated by limestone, delicate fruit (yellow fruit, lime, pear) in the background. This wine requires focus and attention. Very fine and elegant, lean, develops tension over time. Long, salty finish. Still painfully young, needs 3-5+ years. 92++
