Friday, December 29, 2006 - Medium in color (ruby) and body, the main aroma and taste is of dark fruit, a touch of smoke and butter, but distinctly herbaceous. The tannins are soft but obvious, the attack contains marked acidity, and the moderately long finish includes a peppery zing. Overall, a very nice example of Cabernet Franc and Chinon viticulture.
