Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - An unusual wine for me. Golden in color. Thick, rich without becoming fat. Has a sweetness that distinguishes it from a chardonnay, not quite off-dry, but flirts with it. Nicely focused oak keeps this sweetness in check, and the resulting combination is a very full-bodied but balanced white wine.
