Friday, January 26, 2018 - Another fabulous cuvee from Larry and the crew. Just discovered in my cellar that I had a case of this wine that I had never opened. A cork in one of the bottles quickly popped out to my delight. Great nose of fruit and spice. Then served with about 15 minutes of air time at 60 degrees or so through an aerator into two Riedel glasses (one for zinfandels, the other for cabs). It was not to disappoint. Smooth well balanced juices of licorice, cherry, and vanilla, to name a few, with well timed and placed hints of white pepper and other equally hedonistic Turley spices. Nice long aftertaste. Aaah.
