Tuesday, June 30, 2020 - This was understandably quite tight upon opening but with some decanting opened up nicely. Balanced, precise, red fruit with plenty of tannic structure. This was very nice and seems to be a good buy across vintages.

Better on the 2nd day, this became more complete and striking. Seems like classic St. Julien, understated as I tend to find this producer but this vintage is quite beautiful with the right balance of power, nuance and elegance. Glad I have a bit more of this.
