Sunday, January 12, 2020 - On the first pour, the nose was slightly restraint. On the palate it was soft and full of sweet ripe fruit.

After an hour, the nose opened into a wonderful bouquet. On the palate, there was more grip, likely due to the vintage.

Still youthful, with a long finish. Hard to believe a Volnay could possess such masculinity!
