Saturday, February 24, 2024 - Clear deep ruby color with clean and somewhat subdued nose with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, flint with hint of chocolate, smoke, tar and mushrooms. Palate: dry, with good acidity (medium plus) medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body with a very pleasant mouthfeel, medium and very pleasant flavor intensity of plums, minerals, vanilla and dried cranberries. Finish is very satisfying but a bit short. This is a very good wine that is just entering its drinkability window. You can bring it now but it will be worth it to give it a few more years in the cellar.
