Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - I can really taste the vineyard in this wine especially on the finish which kicks into a second gear with a lovely core of medicinal cherry fruit and complex minerals and spices. Fairly full-bodied and possesses some of the firmness of the vintage. Also, it doesn't quite have the silkin texture of some of the best producers of this great vineyard but the fruit here is superb and it is classic Amoureuses in its flavor profile.
