Monday, November 22, 2021 - Very elegant and delicate - aromas of red cherry, plum, currant, tomato leaf, liquorice, clove and a hint of cedar. Medium bordering on medium plus acid with soft, medium tannin and medium body. Similar notes on the palate, with good but not excellent length. Overall a very enjoyable not overly robust wine that went well with the dinner we picked up from a small Italian restaurant near us. I wouldn't age this much further as neither the tannin nor acid felt bold enough to keep the wine from falling flat in a few years. It felt fresh, but my mouth wasn't really watering after a sip. Drink up.
