Thursday, October 9, 2008 - Tastes and smells like warm, sour cherries. I love that. A little wood smoke, some coffee hiding in the finish. Lighter than a lot of the Riojas I've had in the past. Lacked that little extra something but a very good wine. For £9 from Averys, it's not the best deal ever but definitely worth a try.
