Friday, June 16, 2023 - Nose of dry red fruits, wet clay/earth, sawdust and a light note of oil paint. Lively red berry drives across the tongue with acidity and energy adding cherry, sour preserve notes, and plenty of spice and lots of grainy texture. The tannins build on the finish, adding strawberry pie, the same wet earth from the nose, some Indian spice, and a light oak frame. Well balanced and drinking well now. QPR on this one was reasonable for Kosta too as I paid $77.
