Thursday, April 6, 2023 - Wine gathering at RJ's; 4/4/2023-4/7/2023 (South Carolina): Intense golden color. Expressive nose displaying sweet yellow fruit with a hint of white, yellow and white peaches, lemon curd, apple, candied ginger, saline, light caramel, pine needle, honey, sweet and spicy spices and crushed rocks. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of succulent sweet yellow fruit, dense and rich yet also perfectly precise and detailed, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long concentrated yellow fruit driven finish with limestone and flower at the end. While the concentrated fruit hints at sweetness, the finish is bone dry.
