Tuesday, January 2, 2024 - To me this is what Riesling is about. Pure fruit character, petrol, and minerality. The wine showcased stone fruits in its most elegant from. This together with the minerality and petroleum makes it an incredibly captivating nose. However, for me, it is the palate where this wine really blew me away. The level of fruit purity, acidity, citric and salinity and the overall balance is just insane. This was obviously too young but you are drinking this wine now, give it 1 hour of decant prior.
I have to try this again.
