Friday, August 21, 2020 - This is a very well made Sauvignon Blanc but I was expecting something different based on the blend, and frankly something a little more 'wow' for the price. On the palate this came across as a characteristic SB with great purity and freshness and the occasional intrusion from the Viognier which added some weight and fruitiness. The finish was relatively short. Pleased to have tried this wine from this famous producer and to experience something different but not rushing out to buy more.
