Saturday, September 13, 2008 - Steely nose with hints of vanilla. Palate of light citrus, grass, chalk and metal with a finish that fizzles into the abyss before it even begins. Consumed with mesquite grilled halibut and lobster, thankfully, as the meal saved the wine. Very disappointing compared to other vintages.
