Monday, September 5, 2022 - Muddled fruit on the nose, blueberry compote, prune, and a nice herbaciousness/earthiness. This is a big, expansive wine; full bodied and bursting with flavor on the mid-palate. Great acidic backbone and balance. Nice minerality and long finish. 35% new oak, this comes off really harmonious and well-made. Cherry, herbs, sous bois, minerality, a kind of melon note.. I wish I had more.
