Still a bit young and rustic, but this wine is coming into its own; probably another 1-2 years in the cellar before it can shine. Right now it's still too tightly wound.
A bit disappointed by this wine; it's still so young and it's already losing the fruit; the nose it good, but it feels flat in the mouth. It's also missing the minerality so typical of this area. I don't know if it was just this bottle, or it's still too young, but I don't see how time is going to make it better; still, I've got a whole case to find out!

Muddled fruit on the nose, blueberry compote, prune, and a nice herbaciousness/earthiness. This is a big, expansive wine; full bodied and bursting with flavor on the mid-palate. Great acidic backbone and balance. Nice minerality and long finish. 35% new oak, this comes off really harmonious and well-made. Cherry, herbs, sous bois, minerality, a kind of melon note.. I wish I had more.

this has 93-94 potential in the future, very rich but with acidity and structure to hold the palate up, really nice early drinking Corton, but suspect the best time to drink this is 2035-2045

Gorgeous wine: lots of flowery and strawberry scents with a very velvety texture. Flavours of pomegranates, berries and plums are combined with refreshing acidity and a good dose of tannins. I’m waiting 10 more years to see where it goes from here. Don’t feel bad opening one and pouring it straight from the bottle. It’s pretty damn good right now anyways. Very tasty with plain roasted duck.

Louis Latour Tasting (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): High toned crunchy tart red and darker fruit, high acid, nice medicinal note, massive acids structure and mineral, should age well.

Maison Louis Latour Tasting with Louis-Fabrice Latour (Capital Grille, NYC): 40 yr old vines, hand-picked, open vat fermentation, aged 12 mo in oak barrels - 35% new. Color is a darker denser ruby. Nose is restrained. On the palate this is quite concentrated and delicious with a nice harmony between the red cherry fruit, earth and acidity. Still very young and brawny - it should continue to improve and add complexity with cellar time. One of my favorites of the line up.

Some browning on the edges already which surprised me. One dimensional fruit that is a bit on the thin side.

Needed 30-40 minutes to open up. After that it was a spectacular wine, pairing well with lamb, sea bass and NY strip

New York Wine Experience 2018 (New York Marriott Marquis): Very closed, tart cherry, firm tannins, was not decanted and so just struggled to open.
