Tuesday, June 20, 2023 - Appearance- Dark ruby, not transparent. Medium+ viscosity.
On the nose- Strong currant smell, cloves as well.
Palate- Currant and blackberry, perhaps some vanilla. Earthy like an Oregon Pinot Noir
Finish- Very smooth astringency. Silky texture. Flavor profile is long lasting and never develops a bitter aftertaste.
The flavors don't interest me as much, and I think I'm missing some subtle flavors, but this is a good wine.
