Sunday, May 24, 2015 - Tasted blind. Not decanted. I've had this wine in the past on several occasions, but never has it been as good as this. At first, lots of greenness on the nose, with unmistakable notes of cigar box. With air, it opened to reveal a seductive fruit-driven nose of mulberry and blackcurrant, coupled with tobacco, old leather and coffee. Silky smooth and perfectly balanced.
