Tuesday, October 6, 2020 - Surprisingly youthful and needed several hours in the decanter to open up. Dark color and youthful aromas—you would never guess this was a nearly 20 year old wine. Plummy and well structured. It was very enjoyable but not the most complex wine.

10/10/2020 6:41:00 PM - I had an '87 back in '16 that I never would have guessed was 21 yo! Amazing how they do that so well at CM.....I have an '05 we may have to add to the next Jenapalooza.

10/11/2020 5:50:00 AM - Mark—It would be excellent to try the 05. Note that this isn’t even the estate wine, just the NV. Thats’s why I thought it would be further in its age if curve! I have some 2012 estate but I know it is nowhere near ready to go.... (even with your new found decanting tricks lol)
