Palate fairly simple, quite fruit driven. Oak still very present, along with tannins. Black fruit for sure. Rather one note. I can see this having widespread appeal. It does not precisely elicit that reaction in me. It's clean, it's competent, it's varietally OK, and even within the realm of expectations of the appelation, if toward an extreme of that. It just feels like it's trying way too hard.
