Saturday, March 16, 2024 - Three Cedric Bouchard wines: 2015 Les Ursules vs 2016 Cote de Val Vilaine vs 2019 La Boloree. This confirmed my impressions of previous bottles: we never will be friends. I had quite strong rotten egg smells in every wine, and in general lots of funk I don’t like. But beside that, the wines are complex, precise and they’re quite elegant. Everybody I talked to liked it quite a lot, so if you’re a fan of the style, ignore this note.
