Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is still relatively youthful, aromatic with black cherry and plum, lovely purity, violets, earth and liquorice. Medium bodied, plum, black cherry, some smoke, touch of earth and mulch, very fine tannins now pretty much resolved, fresh acidity, good length harmonious finish with liquorice notes. Lovely, continue to drink well, good for at least another 5 years.
