13/15, excellent cork. Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is still relatively youthful, aromatic with black cherry and plum, lovely purity, violets, earth and liquorice. Medium bodied, plum, black cherry, some smoke, touch of earth and mulch, very fine tannins now pretty much resolved, fresh acidity, good length harmonious finish with liquorice notes. Lovely, continue to drink well, good for at least another 5 years.

Medium ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Lovely nose, developed, mulchy, rich yet with underlying pure dark fruit. Soil. Medium/full bodied, quite robust and masculine with dark, savoury fruit, mulch, quite rich but with lovely contrasting, vibrant acidity. A touch of meatiness too. Tannins just a touch tacky on the good length finish. Next bottle 2 years.

10/15. Good cork. Medium garnet. Nose is now showing considerable development with liquorice, rich soil, smoke, bilberry fruit now in the background. Remains aromatic. Medium bodied, meaty black fruit, soil, mulchy, soft tannins, vibrant acidity. Developed but with a juicy fruit core. Very good length, harmonious finish. Drinking well.

Medium red, funky gamey barnyard nose, still a few more years from being fully mature but good now, evolved in the glass, perfect match with roast duck 90

Fully resolved, 1st cru weight, and decently complex nose. Not the most refined palate, but punching above its appellation.
