Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - Sweet notes, complex, focused structure, carries from tip of tongue all the way through to a lengthy finish. Remarkably, we visited the winery last fall and had a barrel taste of the 2012, and while I usually fail at these things, you could see the heritage and resemblance. I consider myself lucky to have these wines, as they are one of California's best. Decades to go.
