Wednesday, December 16, 2020 - Closed off at first, however, with a few hours left to breath, this wine really begins to sing. Graphite/pencil lead on the nose with sweet cassis, dark cherries, tobacco, and a touch of oak. The palate is very fresh at this point, and already well integrated. Velvety soft tannins with lots of length and grip. A touch of chocolate on the finish. Long. Excellent now, but would love to try this wine in 3-5 years.
