Friday, December 15, 2023 - Pop and pour, shimmery red body. Nose has raspberry fruit and leaf, cherry, cocoa powder, orange peel. Nice lighter weight to discern the smooth berry fruit. Has leafy, green peppercorn drying element but not more tannin. Very easy to drink, abv seems average to low.
Excellent wine. Held its own with beef stew but I think would be better with lighter nuanced flavors like duck.
