Saturday, September 16, 2017 - A clear but deep purple with strong tears in the glass. The nose has good black fruits, some plum, but also dark blackberry and blueberry. Dry with only medium acid and tannins Good body with flavours again being blackberry and blueberry rather than deeper flavours associated with Coonawarra cabernets. A medium finish because of the tannins it is good drinking now and could also be in the future, but I wonder whether it has the longevity many commentators claimed on launch.
