95 Points

Sunday, April 12, 2020 - It has shape, elegance and tannin more in keeping with classed Medoc. Perhaps Graves with its earthen and red dirt tannins. It’s also a very refined vintage. Unlike most Black Labels it feels very expensive early in life but it’s not overdone. Belle of the Ball. Love the purple (plum) and red (cherry) fruit through the 2015. While being very young, it’s in that pliant and supple phase where the acidity softens and the oak absorbs in to the wine making it oh so supple. Supple a very good word for the 2015 Black Label. And flawless. 4.5/5 95pts. Now to 20 years. I need to slow down my drinking of this vintage. Can be had in Australia for $32 today. It’s the best value wine in Oz.

5/29/2021 4:28:00 PM - I was looking at a 6 pack of Wynns to pick up ($25 off birthday special), you convinced me to go with this one. For only $28 a bottle I can’t really go wrong.
