Saturday, July 3, 2021 - PnP....still quite young, but was a paella party, so I thought this would complement a nice spicy paella! Problem was that is was not that spicy at all. Still, it complemented the seafood and was good on its own. A little on the sweet side, but full of bright fruit, mostly tropical and passion fruit, with some minerality, mostly saline and oyster shell, and a nice dose of acidity to balance it out (although more acid would have been nice!). This will undoubtably get better with age, and I will try not to touch another bottle for at least 5 years (ideally, 10). 94 for its bright fruit and tamed sweetness now, but a chance to gain a couple points with additional age.
