With modest exposure to air, it becomes quite fine, with precise, freshening acidity giving good lift and cut, reserved fine tannins, and just a bit of fruit - in the plum/prune direction, and attractive, though prune is not obviously an appealing descriptor. This is very good wine at nine years; I'm glad I stocked up in 09 and 11.
