Friday, April 10, 2020 - Single blind tasting
Ruby color, filtered
Aromatics are medium +. Earth, evergreen and crisp fresh red fruit
Palate is medium. Tannins medium +, rough in character on the gums and roof of mouth. Acidity medium +. Earth, chalk and secondary cherry.
Length is medium + with balance leaning more towards the tannins than I remember from my last tasting.
While I still like the wine, usually I would have expected a little more fruit on the palate.
