Friday, April 21, 2023 - Nose: Cherry, vanilla, baking spice, leather.
Palate: Coconut, cedar, cherry, vanilla, tobacco. Acidity is mild, tannins are smooth, but I feel it drying my cheeks out.
Enjoyed it overall. From what I understand, this wasn't a great vintage for Rioja, but it appears they made the best of it. Lack of concentration is my big gripe.
