Monday, June 14, 2010 - When we 1st got to taste this wine, it seemed like Bordeaux. (It was served blind at a Bordeaux 2000 tasting, and was the WOTN).
Tonite it also seems like Bordeaux, with lots of herbal notes and some fruit mixed in.
Surprisingly good with our onion rings and grilled steak wrapped in bacon (with thyme herb seasoning), which firmed up the fruit notes and toned down the herbs.
Drink now!
