Monday, September 25, 2023 - Medium garnet color with powerful Shea fruit and spices on the nose. Red cherries and strawberries, pepper and earth in the background.

The palate shows rich red fruits with blackberries and plums. More pepper here with medium acidity and fairly hefty and slightly out-of-balance 14.4% alcohol. Spice lingers on a medium finish that thins out rather quickly.

A few more years may sort these pieces out more completely, but for now it’s a bit scattered. More CA than Burgundy in style.
