Saturday, July 16, 2011 - Auction bottle held 2 years. After 2 hours this young Chardonnay really stretches out and starts to run. Reductive aromas give way to warm notes of hazelnut and lemon peel, which just soar on the palate. So very long. Unbuttered toast with a spread of Meyer lemon. Goes on for minutes. If it is untouched by premox, it will be gorgeous in 2018. But certainly rewarding now if given ample time to open.
