Thursday, May 26, 2022 - Dinner at Chez Dalluge: Baptism of the New Kitchen (Chez Dalluge, MN): Still a light gold color. Drank a glass plus over 75 minutes. Wow! This was absolutely singing. Eleven years after the last bottle which was damn good, this is a revelation. When these are intact at this age, they are amazing. There's a simply riveting minerality here; dry stone meets ocean waves, white flowers, pear, apple, with fantastic lift and subtlety on the nose, and palate too for that matter. The mirror image palate is harmonious, concentrated and driven, yet light, lemon, soft texture, layered and caressing through the long, long finish. Thanks Craig, exquisite.
