Monday, December 19, 2011 - Over the hill and disjointed but overall enjoyable. Still quite dark in the glass, deep ruby red and transparent on the edges. Nose gives away its age. Herbs, dark red fruit and whatever-you-call-that-classic-aged-cab-smell. On the palate it's incredibly silky with no hint of tannins. A bit awkward though with dissonant flavors.
