Saturday, January 9, 2021 - very similar to my last tasting note - nose of mature dark fruit, graphite, and white flowers - full rich mouth of mature black fruits, spice (not sure exactly which), soft ripe tannins, and fresh acidity - full bodied, but not alcoholic - not a particularly long finish, but long enough to remember the charm of this fully mature Toro wine - tasted alongside a 2002 Alion: the Alion was smoother and easier to drink, but the Pintia was much more interesting, and better balanced - a beautiful mature Spanish tempranillo
